Privacy Policy “Protecting Your Client Information”

 To All Clients of Newport Securities Corporation: 

Newport Securities Corporation is committed to keeping nonpublic information about you, our customer, secure and confidential.  This notice is to help you understand just how we plan on fulfilling this commitment:

From time to time, we may collect a variety of personal information about you, including the following:

 ·        Information we receive from you on applications and forms, via the telephone, facsimile, or mail;

 ·        Information about your transactions with us, our clearing firm Wedbush Morgan, or others (such as your purchases, sales, or account balances and positions). 

We do not disclose nonpublic personal information to anyone, except as permitted by applicable law or regulation.  For example, we may share this information with others (i.e. Wedbush Morgan), in order to process your transactions.  We may also provide this information to companies that perform outside administrative services on our behalf, such as our clearing firm, Wedbush Morgan.  We will require these companies to protect the confidentiality of this information and to use it only to perform the services in which we have a contractual agreement.

Each of our employees has a responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information.  We require all of our employees to agree in writing to protect the confidentiality of our customer information and to use it solely for business purposes.  We instruct our employees to recognize the importance of customer confidentiality.  Any employee who violates these standards is subject to disciplinary measures. 

If you decide to at some point close your account(s) or become an inactive client, we will still continue to adhere to our privacy policies and practices with respect to your nonpublic information.
